We set this up with a stainless top screen and silicon bottom mat. Using no oil had crisp chicken strips and french fries with minimal cleanup required. Found the “icon” selected times to be off by miles. Frozen chix showed 8 minute cook, required 15, on the other hand french fries selected 25 minute cook, only took 17, obviously the fryer manufacturer cannot account for vagaries of food supplier, so do not depend on preselelected icons – use package cook times if provided. This of course makes having preselects fairly useless. Unit is quiet, easy to clean, large capacity.

I’m not a chef, or even a cook. So understand that I know very little about cooking. Nevertheless, this machine has brought me one smile after another. I started with a toaster oven air fryer last year and had some success, until it died within a year. Much research later, I switched to this traditional basket-style air fryer. It has several settings for pre-set temperature and time that can easily be adjusted to my guesses of what might work. I bought the accessories package for it, so my references to everything other than the crisper (which comes with the machine) refer to the accessories. My first attempt was a piece of left-over poached cod, Air Fryer setting for about 4 minutes. The fish came out slightly crispy on top and marvelously still moist inside. The next night I placed a chunk of ham steak on liner paper (cut to size so it wouldn’t flap and possibly hit the coils) on the crisper rack with foil at the bottom. Steak setting at the default time. Succulent! Crispt! Delicious! (Turns out I didn’t need the liner paper because the rack is SOOOOO easy to clean, as is everything else, using a SOFT sponge. Today I made a ham & bleu cheese open-faced sandwich in the pizza pan resting on the metal rack on Broil for 3 minutes. Perfect! Yesterday, fried egg on toast. First, bread on skewer rack for toast. Then fried egg (in the pizza pan resting on the skewer rack) and ham (on the skewer rack shelf) using the VeSync cell-phone software at 360 (adjusted) for 6 minutes. Perfect fried egg and ham on toast! Another time, lamb chops at Air Fryer setting, placed on crisper rack set over foil on the basket bottom. Juicy!Note: the toast comes out cooked just as if from a toaster, except not browned (unless butter or oil used-which I avoid and the main reason I use an air fryer…) or grill marks. Just wish there were a 2-shelf rack.Oh – the company told me that the silicone mat that comes with the accessories is for something to place the hot items on coming out of the fryer. But I use it at the bottom of the basket when using the metal rack or skewer rack so as not to scratch the basket’s finish.I LOVE this machine.

It is a little pricey but I’ve been searching for the perfect size Air Fryer, this 5QT COSORI is it, definitely big enough for the average family but still very sleek, slim and attractive on the counter, does not take up much space at all. Someone’s review mentioned steam seeping out from the bottom making their counter wet, that has not happened with mine as of yet. I honestly have no complaints, at the moment. Things I love about it is obviously first and foremost what I just mentioned is it’s attractive look, next I love that it doesn’t have an inside basket to worry about cleaning, just a removable stainless steel plate, no other fancy accessories come with it either. I also love how easy it is to use, and that it has a PRESET option to PRE-HEAT along with other PRESET options. Tempered top glass adds to the attractive look, stays dark with just power button lite up, then hit power 2x and whole panel lights up ready to use, I discovered if you don’t even want the power button to stay on (if you’re an energy conserver =) just don’t shut the basket all the way. It’s also very very easy to clean, it says it’s dishwasher safe but it’s so easy to clean, I just do it by hand, rinse all residue out with hot water, residue slides right off nicely then I wash with warm soapy water. If you do use dishwasher, you may want to remove the 4 rubber spacers that are on the stainless steel removal plate 1st, not sure if you need to, but I probably would. I hope this review helps, sorry no pics to show, at the moment I’m away from home, may update review with pics in a couple of weeks… If you’re on the fence, like I was about whether this is the right option, I truly believe you will not be disappointed, I’m certainly not =)

Probably the most used item in the whole house. We love this air fryer. Makes eating leftovers enjoyable. Cleaning is easy, especially if you use a liner or foil. It’s kinda awkwardly sized so it does live on the counter, but for how much we use it we don’t mind.

I was looking for an air fryer basket for my oven – then went down the path of getting an actual air fryer. I did a lot of looking on Amazon – read reviews – then YouTube reviews. I decided on the COSORI Pro II Air Fryer Oven Combo. I think it has the best features and better reviews than its competitors even when compared to more expensive air fryers.I’ve used it twice so far – frozen french fries. Planning on making other things in the near future. The first time – I followed the instruction on the bag of Or-Ida crinkle cut fries. Did the shake – (love the shake reminder – and that I can select or not). Checked a minute or so before the timer when off. The fries were over cooked – but still edible. The next time – same fries – I followed the Cosori cookbook guideline. MUCH better. They still cooked a bit faster than the recommended time. I’ll have to play around with the time – I think I got the temp correct. The air fryer cooked them SO much faster than my oven and kept the kitchen cooler. A BIG plus on both counts.I love the removable inner basket and the outer basket that catches all the crumbs – versus just a plate in other models that will fall out when you dump out your food. SO easy to remove the inner basket. Also loved the safety latch that you must slide to remover the inner basket. It keeps you from accidentally removing the inner basket by mistake. The basket size if perfect too.The touch pad controls are easy to use and very intuitive. I didn’t have to re-read the manual to use. Cleanup was easy too. Dish soap and a paper towel on both the inner and outer baskets. Dry – done.I’m planning on cooking some zucchini – and – or – eggplant in it soon. Cut into slabs – season – cook. I like both but don’t cook because I didn’t want the mess of actually frying them in oil in a pan and the extra oil required. I may actually get some veggies in my body with the air fryer. Will probably try some other items too.I am VERY pleased with my purchase of the COSORI Pro II Air Fryer Oven Combo. Thank you for a well thought out and designed product.

This is my third air fryer. This one is much easier to use as the icons on the top are handy to use. But just one thing, with spending so much for a product, it seems more instructions could be included. I still have NOT figured out HOW to use the broiler. The broiler is one of the reasons I chose this model air fryer. I suggest a FREE cookbook be included but most especially a full book of instructions would be most helpful.

Really good air fryer for the price. It gets really hot and cooks food faster than any of the other brands I have had

I’ve been using this air fryer for over 2 weeks so I could give an honest review. This is hands down the best air fryer! Love that you can preheat it so everything cooks evenly. Also, like that it reminds you to shake food 1/2 way through cooking if you choose. I’ve cooked chicken breast wrapped in foil, drizzled with EVOO & spices. The chicken comes out tender & juicy. The chicken taste a lot better than, boiling chicken for recipes I make using chicken. French fries taste better than any takeout fries, hands down! The crispiness is a chef’s kiss. Reheating pizza, sandwiches & burritos in the air fryer are a game changer. I highly recommend this COSORI air fryer. I’m going to order another one for my mom. She has a Power XL air fryer, now & it’s horrible. I know she will enjoy the COSORI. It’s not to big to keep out on the counter, cleaning it is a breeze.

The air fryer is not too big for the counter. I love the square shape of the basket, easy to set up and clean use it way more than I thought I would.

It is quick and easy to use and makes great tasting foods I haven’t had it long enough to tell a great deal, but I have done chicken, fries and vegetables and they all tasted great. It is a breeze to clean up. Love it, my favorite part is that it has top and bottom heating elements so you don’t have to turn the food over like with other air fryrs.
H. E. Boraks –
This air fryer does a great job cooking!Easy to use and clean up is a snap. Can finally enjoy making food without heating up my house with the stove!!

I’ve been wondering what the deal with air fryers was for a while. Now that I own one, I can express: they’re overrated. But they’re still really great to have around. And this one deserves its high rating. So, the most similar appliance is a toaster oven; think of this as a convection toaster oven. A normal oven takes a while to reach the right temperature, and a toaster oven is really good at charring the top or bottom of your food near the heating element. This air fryer has no such problem. So basically, the main basket gets really hot and might sear food if it had the option, and the basket inside that does as well, but air flows between those two baskets and through the food, heating *and drying* it. So the crisping effect that usually draws me from the microwave to the toaster oven is greatly amplified in this. I will basically never turn on my toaster oven again (possibly not my toaster, either, unless I feel like making a pop-tart).I think that people who air-fry everything for health reasons are nuts. This is just a smarter way of heating your frozen breaded-whatever or your McDonald’s fries.

Oh my gosh, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread (yep, I’m over 70). I have been slightly skeptical about air fryers for a long time. I was looking for a toaster oven that did almost everything when I came across this COSORI Air Fryer, 5 QT, 9-in-1 Airfryer Compact Oilless Small Oven, Model Name CAF-L501-KUS, Dark Gray. I was intrigued. I read all of the descriptions and the reviews and thought why not give it a try. I had a substantial amount of Prime Rewards and thought I’d use some of them so I wouldn’t be out the total cost for this product and if I didn’t like it I could return it. That’ll never happen! I love this Air Fryer! It’s compact yet room for at least 4 chicken thighs; the 5 quart basket holds a good half pound of french fries and oh my gosh how they come out – better than restaurant fries. I’ve used it every day and continue to find wonderful things to cook in it: brussel sprouts, baked potatoes, chicken legs, asparagus, pork chops, and the list goes on. It’s very easy to use. I read the initial instructions and found the tempered glass display to be a breeze, it almost runs itself, it’s simple and well thought out. And it’s very quiet. The basket is non-stick and residue washes away easily. No oils necessary, but I found that on some things you may want to spray a little olive oil on the food. It cooks food in half the time and comes out wonderfully. It has a “shake” button to automatically lets you know that half through the cooking cycle, you need to ‘shake’ whatever you’re cooking; i.e., turn the chicken, shake the french fries, rotate the baked potato. And then when you reinsert the basket, the air fryer automatically resumes cooking. It’s compact and really doesn’t take up much counter space and has a sleek look. If you’ve never used an air fryer before, I would suggest looking up Air Fryer Cooking Times on the internet because you’ll want a guide handy since cooking times are much different than the microwave or the regular oven. You’ll find that if you put chicken in the preheated air fryer and set the time for 30 minutes, you have to get all the other things you are going to enjoy for dinner prepared and ready because that finished signal comes up quickly. I’ve found that everything I prepare in it comes out perfectly cooked and succulent. It’s amazing and I’m a firm believer in this product. It’s the first I’ve ever tried air frying and I love it. Can’t wait to try a ton of recipes in this Cosori Air Fryer. I highly recommend it; you won’t be disappointed. Love it, love it, love it!

Best air fryer! Gets food done and crispy in minutes! Easy to take apart to clean! I never put in dishwasher. I always hand clean and it still works great

We own two Air Fryers, one in each of our homes, and I wanted a unit that had a bigger capacity. The Dual Blaze was on sale on Cyber Monday, and based on my daughter’s great experience with Cosori, I opted for this purchase. So far, it has been a great decision. The dual heating elements make a difference with many foods, and having the option to remove the Crisper Plate with the heating elements below helps to cook an abundance of foods. It also runs much quieter compared to my previous unit. For instance, simple breakfast items such as eggs sunny side up are a snap in 6 minutes and come out perfectly.I also love the app and its number of recipes, including reading the bar codes on foods and then receiving the cooking instruction for the air fryer via the app.I genuinely recommend this air fryer to anyone. You won’t be disappointed.

Got it for my moms birthday she loves it! She can control it through her phone and weirdly she knows when it’s being used even when she’s out of the house!! Gives her a notification when food is done no matter if she’s in a different town or not!
Naturalhair –
I ve use this almost every day or every other day since purchasing it & I love, I even cooked some cornbread in it! Turkey bacon too, I also made some fish that came out perfect! it makes the best wigs ever, it’s true that you really don’t have to turn the food over, but I do on some things, ( my preference) it’s light weight & very easy to clean, I did download the app, but have never used it @ least not yet, plan to. This a upgrade from my last small air fryer by 20000% I have not scratched the surface of what all it can do just yet, but I Do Not Regret the the purchase & that’s for sho, plus I I got mine on sale! You Tube has great suggestions on how to use it as well.

I saw a recommendation for this air fryer and decided to check it out. Amazon had a sweet deal on it, so I couldn’t pass it up. This unit replaces a Ninja model I bought just over a year ago. The Ninja worked well, but I couldn’t pass up a new shiny!Upon arrival I saw it arrived in a Cosori-labeled outer box, so shipping was not anonymous and porch pirates could steal it pretty easily. The unit was double-boxed but they went overboard with the packing tape on the inner box! All they needed was ONE piece as a security feature to show it had not been tampered with, but the entire top was sealed tight. After liberating the fryer from its box, I removed all of the packing material inside it and washed it as prescribed. I followed their two-step bakeout procedure and for the first time was very surprised to smell ZERO outgassing products! The first air fryer I tried was so obnoxious with plastic outgassing I had to throw it away. The Ninja wasn’t bad, but it still needed a couple initial bakeouts. The Cosori was completely unobjectionable. So far, I’ve run a batch of Ore-Ida french fries through it and a bag of Ore-Ida Potatoes O’Brien. They both came out great. I like the touchscreen on it and the keep warm feature is real nice. They advertise a shake reminder which is good, but it only works at the midpoint of whatever time you set. Not the absolute most convenient. There’s a bacon setting. I’m curious how that one will work. This brings up a good design feature – the basket is a two part assembly. The inner part which is perforated to allow drippings to fall through is the part attached to the handle. The outer part is comprised of an inner solid aluminum shell and an outer plastic shell for insulation. Both the inner half and the inner shell are aluminum with a nonstick coating. So far, they’re very slippery. The fryer also incorporates an automatic shutoff circuit when the basket is removed. So, when you want to shake your food, you can just pull out the basket without fiddling with the controls (although, there is a pause button). The fan and heater will shut down and then restart when the basket is reinserted. The fryer settings remain unchanged so it just picks up where it left off.I don’t recall seeing anything about the basket being dishwasher safe. Handwashing isn’t that big of a deal, but the parts are bulky and fill up a normal-sized sink pretty quick.I’m going to play around with it more over Christmastime and see how the bacon and steak features work. So far, I’m happy with it and I see it featured in several online recipe websites. If Amazon has it for sale for under $100, I would recommend getting one.

Way better than my Ninja air fryer it is replacing. Broke it in by making the best chicken wing’s I’ve made at home. The recipe/guide book it comes with is very useful as a base to adjust your own cooking times from. I’ve used the preset on NY strip and chicken and it’s pretty spot on.

Que no viene con ningún accesorio, pero ya lo compré en fin estoy muy feliz. Lo cómoda que es para usar con la aplicación .

I love this air fryer, but have one issue: it has a vent so there cooking odors just like an oven. I had a cheapo air fryer with no vent that worked well and no fish smell when I make salmon. If you don’t mind the smell this machine is way ahead of the competition. Fast,no preheat necessary and even works with alexa.

I didn’t really have a problem with the Cosori Dual Blaze air fryer, but it became easily apparent that the bottom element really didn’t make much of any difference at all. No, you can’t expect the bottom element to cook the bottom of your food as well as the upper element will. It is as simple as that. That said, I have read that the different cooking settings (Air Fry / Bake / Broil / etc.) run the top and bottom elements at different temperatures, but I always used the Air Fry setting, which allegedly runs both the top and bottom elements at “full power.” I tried a few items — always on the crisper plate — and the bottom of the food was always far less cooked than the top was. You know, like any other air fryer you might have been using for years? “No difference here.” A simple example was “grilled cheese sandwiches.” Yes, the tops were just perfect, but the bottoms were still a bit damp from the butter I had used to coat all of the bread surfaces.”And so on.”Yes, so you just go back to normal air fryer operation, and turn your food — but of course, this doesn’t have a “shake” option to you alert you’re halfway through cooking. Perhaps if you’re willing to cook on the bottom of the pot, without the crisper tray, that might be a bit more successful with the bottom element, but that’s not really what I wanted to do with an air fryer.Otherwise, I can’t really complain much about Cosori — this was the second one I’ve purchased, and I’ll just go back to my old one. Yes, you can set the presets so they are useful for your needs, and the quality seems to be all that Cosori has built a reputation upon. But I had a couple of other things that bugged me about the Dual Blaze fryer:The crisper tray fits in the cooking pot ASTONISHINGLY tightly. There will be no problem with the crisper tray falling into your plate as you dump your food out onto it. It’s a struggle to get that thing in and out of the cooking pot.And this was by far the largest air fryer I’ve tried, and that cooking pot was just very hard to clean in my tiny, little, 75-year-old cottage. I have a small kitchen sink with a rather low faucet, and it was just an absolute struggle to wash that pot by hand, let alone find anywhere to allow the thing to dry. While I rather like the square-cornered look of the Dual Blaze fryer, that might have added to the girth of the pot, compared to one from a fryer with more rounded corners. So, given that the Dual Blaze fryer really didn’t offer any additional cooking capabilities over any other air fryer, and it was so much bigger and thus more difficult to clean, I decided to return it.

This is the first air fryer that I have ever purchased and I am very pleased with this Cosori Air Fryer. I am now cooking everything that I would normally cook on my stove top or oven in the air fryer and it all tastes so much better because the food is not greasy or dried out. I believe that this is a much healthier way to prepare your meals since you can have fried food without cooking it in oil. Needless to say that, overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the Cosori Air Fryer.
Rachel George –
This my second Cosiri. My first one fell apart but it did get a lot of use. The screws kept getting loose and falling out. I finally had to throw it out. Why buy another? Well, I have bought a different air fryer, fancier and offers more choices but it really didn’t/doesn’t compare to the simplicity and reliability as this Cosori. For the price I decided to buy a new one with the hope I will be cognizant of the problems I had before and treat it more gentle and hoping they have improved.
Melo1964 –
This is my most favorite kitchen appliance at the moment. So much better than I expected! Does a great job with reheating items, cooking items that are frozen and baking. There’s are plenty of recipes online from people who own this model.
Michael –
Finally took a stab at an air fryer after reading all the rage about them. Certainly not disappointed! Products like chicken and beef are staggeringly easier and more convenient to prepare. I used to loath all the pots and pans I’ve have to sully and clean in order to prepare a hot homemade meal, but this eliminates a ton of prep and cleanup while also providing more reliable and faster results.I have had some issues with the touch controls on this unit – it’s not always entirely responsive, and will occasionally “make decisions” of its own accord (it will, for example, add Shake timers or arbitrarily drop the temperature setting below what I’ve selected) – but these are mostly minor annoyances moreso than anything else.Overall, it’s a great piece of kit, and it’s eliminated a lot of the tedium and dread I used to associate with preparing my own meals. Would recommend!

Use it daily! Super easy to use. Pay a little extra to get the bottom heating element. No need to waste time pre heating and shacking food; very important. I rather use that time to cook!. To save on clean up time, I always use the silicone air fryer liner; 8.5″ square – must have. Below is the Amazon silicone Air Fryer Liner description; the biggest I could find. By the way, I bought a small 3.5 cu freezer and stocked up on frozen food from Costco and Sam’s- A Big Time Saver!Air Fryer Silicone Pot, Silicone Air Fryer Liners 8.5 inch Square Air Fryer Basket, Replacement of Parchment Liner Paper, Easy Cleaning Food Safe Air fryers Oven Accessories with Heat-proof GlovesBrand: LIGTEHEEA

So it took me more than of trying to figure out the air fryer I should get since there are so many option. Chose this one and I am so freaking happy I did! Clean up is so fast and easy. Food is so Crispy and it’s easy to use. You can open and check the progess of your food as you cook. It’s nice as a beginner so I can adjust time as needed. I’ve used the air fryer almost everyday since we got it. It’s so nice and big that I can cook a lot at one time which was a concern before purchasing.

I remember when Microwaves were a thing and some people swear by toaster ovens. I’m old fashioned, love to cook from-scratch meals and I rarely use a microwave except to reheat. I have a 5 burner Wolf electric stove top and double JennAir wall ovens so I resisted the whole Air Fryer craze until now and after using my Cosori 5.8 quart for a little while have to admit I am unimpressed. So for real cooks I’d like to break down some of the positives and negatives. The pros………..It preheats much faster than any full size oven. In general it is less messy and I’ve already purchased paper liners made for air fryers that fit the basket , can withstand the heat and there is no clean-up at all. It can leave a crispy outside to the food. It is much faster cooking. I can melt the cheese on a sandwich in no time, or warm bread without toasting. I would not do these things in a microwave, which ruins food and this is so much easier than preheating a full size oven. Cooking breakfast sausage is a breeze. The negatives………If you think 5.8 quarts is big, well it isn’t. I cook for 2 and I could never see attempting a meal in this. I don’t buy much from the freezer section, but frozen fries don’t cook any faster in this than in a skillet on the stove with a little oil, and I think the skillet version taste better. Until you perfect each item expect to stop and check your food over and over to see if it is done. The crispy part can also mean the food is tougher. Since overcrowding can be a problem, if you are cooking in batches, expect to use your full size oven to keep food warm. Even to warm something this has to be preheated, unlike a microwave. The unit is loud, both preheating and cooking. I tried to capture just how loud in my short video. It’s louder than my dishwasher.I want every meal cooked to perfection and I think air fryers are more of a convenience. Like microwaves, it’s ease and speed over quality. If many of your foods come from the freezer section , this is a great buy and works well and fast, but I haven’t found any item this cooks better than my stovetop or oven.

I do believe this is a very good fryer. But if you are like me, I break things. I did the test runs and found it hard to remove and replace the baskets. I would probably get used to that but the big issue for me is the plastic piece that covers the button. I’m sure this is a non-issue for most. But I just know I would break it so I’m returning it.

What I like: it works reasonably well and cooks french fries great. Grilled Cheese sandwiches are OK, but bottom side doesn’t get as toasted as top regardless of bottom heater element that’s supposed to eliminate shaking and turning of food during cooking. It’s not too loud, but I’d like it quieter. Does a good job with frozen foods that I would normally cook in a microwave. Very good for small frozen pizzas. What I don’t like: my kitchen lights are not that bright and this fryer does not light up all the control buttons when turned on. The buttons only light when they are pressed. It’s hard to see the unlit button names under my normal kitchen lighting conditions. Age and eyesight also play a part here. I also find removal of the bottom tray difficult – it fits very tightly into the bottom of the basket via the 4 silicone corner bumpers attached to the bottom tray. Finally, the two round finger holes in the bottom grate/tray (used to insert and remove the tray) allow french fries and other small food bits to fall down below the tray causing them to burn and melt on the floor of the main basket close to the bottom heating element during operation.

I upgraded from the small corsori air fryer. So the dual blaze is huge to me! LOL. I am loving it. Still learning my way but everything I have tried so far (have had for 5 days) has turned out great. I especially like the broil option since I like tuna melts and this option melts the cheese instead of heating up the whole sandwich! I do put a liner underneath to catch melting cheese! This thing is super easy to clean. I used the crisping plate for some frozen appetizers and they came out crispy! There is a learning curve for figuring out time and temp – but I recall that was the same for my first air fryer too. If you are considering buying this – just go ahead and do it! I think you will like it!! I like that there is no basket as it was so hard to clean with the vents (I periodically bought new baskets as I could never get them as clean as I would like)!Have now had this air fryer for a month and use it most days. Still loving it! I have bought some foil sheets and parchment liners to use to catch drips and keep basket clean. I have not experienced smoke from drippings. The display buttons are dark but you can hit each one and they light up….you learn where the ones you use are quickly. A little thing I really like is that when I pause and pull the drawer to check on what I am cooking, when I put the drawer back in, the fryer powers back up automatically instead of having to push a button to turn it on again. It is a little thing but I was always hitting then hitting the button again on my former Corsori (small quart size) – guess I was impatient!I do wish Corsori would have put out directions, tips, etc., as I am still not sure when to use the plate or just the drawer. I am concluding that anything I want crispy or that drips fat, then use the plate, otherwise I just use the drawer. Recipes in a compact manual would be nice too. I cook just for me and love the amount of space! I don’t need it but it is great to have!

The COSORI air fryer is fast like a microwave, but with crispness. It’s like an oven but faster and far smaller. It is so easy to use and clean, I can throw in a handful of frozen French fries, or reheat a slice of pizza with almost zero effort, but great results.

I bought this as a Xmas gift for my daughter. I have one and it is nice addition. It’s an alternative to having oven on. The problem is the box it arrived in was destroyed. It was wrapped in plastic and taped together, I can’t even return it the box is so beat up i I hope it works fine other wise I’m out $99

I already had an air fryer that I purchased due to space limitations, but I ended up using it only as a bake and toaster function due to the difficulty if keeping it clean. This air fryer was recommended and I thought I’d take a chance on it. I’m so glad I did! Making bacon and sausage is terrific in the morning, and the cleanup is exceptionally easy. It fits easily under my cabinets & I can see this becoming an essential part of my kitchen cooking routine.

This Air Fryer is the best I have ever owned!!! It is sturdy, easy to clean, cooks food perfect, the presets are programmed well for the type of food you are cooking!!! It’s not to loud and has enough space to cook a nice meal!!! The price was reasonable for the quality of the Air Fryer!!

Overall I’m pleased with my Cosori 6.8 Qt dual blaze. There a few things I think you guys could innovate to make slightly better, but they wouldn’t stop me from buying the product. The first Cosori we got was the 5.8 quart. The basket fell apart after a year though – the part where the plastic front was attached to the metal basket sort of disintegrated where the screws attach. Also, it was frustrating that the drawer was on a slight tilt forward, meaning if you pulled it out even a little it continued to slide forward and down on its own, which could lead to falling if you don’t have a massive amount of counter space in front of it. I loved how versatile it was for cooking though. This definitely got me hooked on air fryers. If I had done more research I might have realized that Cosori have a 2 year guarantee, so I should have contacted the company to see if they could give me a new basket. We just went ahead and bought a new one though because I wanted it to be slightly bigger. The new one we got is the 6.8 quart dual blaze. This one has some improvements. I don’t know if the inside coating is actually different, or if it’s just been a while since I had the old one and I”m misremembering, but this one seems easier to clean. Everything wipes out really easily. It has a removable shelf inside instead of an entire basket you lift out. The shelf is easier to clean as well. The old basket had all the holes and slats that could be difficult to get grease/debris out of.The only issue with the shelf is taking it out. It has two holes in the center that you’re supposed to put your fingers through to lift it out. However, when your food is ready and it’s hot, you obviously can’t do that! So you have to get the food out itself with a spatula or tongs. If you do try to tilt the entire drawer over, the shelf falls out with the food. I think it would be good to have a handle that sticks straight up in the center, with a threaded screw hole in the center of the basket. That way you could grasp it to lift it out if you were making something like fries, etc, but if you wanted to cook an entire chicken you just unscrew the handle, and voila, the shelf is flat again.I also think they should make four divets horizontally in the corners of the drawer, so that the shelf stays put if you do want to tilt the entire drawer over to dump something out. These divets should be strong enough to hold the shelf in place for an easy tilt, but with the screw-in handle it would still be easy to exert enough force on the shelf to remove it if you wanted.I would also recommend putting little foldable “feet” on the sides of the shelf, so that you could raise it if you wanted, and cook something both in the bottom of the drawer itself and on the shelf. Again voila – instant accessory. That to me is a major selling point, and I doubt I’m the only one that would love a built in accessory like that. One more thing – the dual blaze has the settings of reheat, broil, bake, air fry, and roast, but it does not explain in the instruction manual how the dual burners function accordingly. Example, air fry is both burners on high, broil is top burner high, bottom burner low, etc. I had to scroll through a dozen FB posts to try to find out if somebody knew, and I still only found 4 of the six settings. These should be clearly in the instruction manual. Both products are still great and I would still recommend them, as evidenced by the fact that I bought another Cosori 🙂 Just tweaks that would make them even better and might get some people more sold on them.Ps- one more pro. The new dual blaze is much quieter than the old one.

I’ve been a grumpy old man and been clinging to my convection oven for years. It’s sounds something like… “Ah, those things must have cold blind spot… just whipping the air around in that small space…fling’en the oil and juices inside and making a mess…” Well, at least the Cosori, it doesn’t have any of those issues. Tested it with homemade fries with tossed with a light coat of olive oil and not any issues oily sprays or leaks. Any drips stayed inside the pan part and the basket design was simple and efficient to shake the fries around or flip with a silicone spatula. Air seems to move around the 1.5 pounds test fries well. The single shake interval is good enough to give mostly even crispness. Heating up frozen veg, prepared frozen items, chicken crockets, roasting baby carrots, and links of sausages were all very good… depending on settings of course. So about settings… it can be tricky. The charts and suggested stuff is fine, but I found I had to really personalize things to zero in on my idea of just right. Employing the ‘Shake’ button or hitting the pause often was helpful to check on the progress. My first test fries on the pre-set were too dark and dried for my liking. The pressure from the air makes my convection oven calculations off by 15% or so, but still I have no real complaints with the Cosori. Clean up after a busy weekend of cooking experiments has been a breeze. Only doing wipe downs with a paper towel and a few rinses so far and don’t see a need to toss it in the dishwasher. I’ve read somewhere that basket part may not handle many cycle through the dishwasher, but the clean up has been so light that I don’t think that will ever be necessary. Under the drawer or the air fryer’s cooking compartment, I’ve only needed a quick wipe down of any build up moisture and so far not a sign of grease. I don’t spray coat items prior to cooking yet, but I’m sure when I start, I’ll see the build up and maybe some residue in the bottom outside the drawer. When I get over the laziness and stop eating, I’ll add some pics.

Wow! I spent a lot of time learning and researching and trying out a few different Air Fryers. I am so very happy with my Cosori. The size is good! I’ve done steaks, chicken, love the tater tots and homemade fries, vegetables, I even make apple crisp in ramekins! I created a protein egg bite that bakes up so beautifully in it. This has changed my life!!Probably the only thing is I wish it held my Pyrex 9×9 glass baking sheet. (it has handles on it and therefore is bigger than a 9×9 :/.Basically this is a compact convection oven that is amazing! I have replaced my toaster with this and barely use my microwave anymore. I am so very happy!

I have really enjoyed using this air fryer. I got it to eat healthier. Mostly to cook frozen chicken breast easily and because vegetables just taste better with a bit of a crunch. While it does make healthy food taste good, it makes unhealthy food taste so much better. For example, fries… they weren’t my favorite. I’d usually sift through them to get those elusive thin, crisp ones. Sometimes they’d look thin and crisp and feel okay, but would be completely soggy. Anyway, I like my fries like I like my bacon. 30 more seconds and they’d be charred. Even if I blasted them in the oven, or do it low and slow, it would be hit and miss. With this thing, I can make them as crispy as I like, 95% of the time (the other 5% is when I’m starved and impatient). For the most part, to this point, I’ve been reviewing air fryers in general. This one in particular is nice because the basket is a good size and it’s easy to control. Easier than others I’ve used but that may be because this one is new and the others I’ve used looked a bit old.My qualms are with the design. I find it a bit illogical. 2 issues that didn’t affect the overall rating because it isn’t that big of a deal: 1) when you turn it on, the default setting is 350 F for 15 mins. How often do you leave something in there for 15 mins?? Uhhh not too often. I think it should default to like 10 mins or something. Things usually hover around +/- 5 mins from there. Set on 15 mins, you need to decrease it by 5-10 mins every time you turn it on. 2) I think it should default to the shake function, not the other way around. Or let us choose how we want it to default. Most things need to be shaken and I often forget because I rarely use the programmed settings. So maybe it’s my fault, which is why 0 stars lost.1 star was lost because of one of the worst design flaws. The tray is being secured with nothing but small rubber grips. It’s fine when it’s clean and there’s no oil when you go to pour out your food, it stays put. But if its a bit oily, watch out. It’s most likely going to topple out with your food and may burn you. I’m kinda shocked by the design because I have used older models with baskets that are secured and a press of the button releases it when you need to clean the tray. That worked really well. Whoever changed this shouldn’t be involved in designing things that make sense.Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

My first air fryer and after researching went with the pro 2. What can I say that has not been said on the thousands of reviews. great size, great controls, great baskets. It really does cook fast. No long preheating wait, Everything seems to come out perfect. Much better than my toaster convection or big oven. Its fast and you can do multi parts of you meal in the same basket. My fried clams came out perfect. and in 5 mins vice 23 in the oven. No burnt clams. tried chicken, pork, hamburger and wow so easy. Easy cleanup. just wash basket in sink. i may run in dishwash now and then. Build quality seems good. control panel is easy to use and customer settings is great. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN FIND NEGATIVE about this product. You can cook just about anything in it. Like most how did i wait so long but glad I did as this new model seems to have it all an fixed earlier problems. Got my new cookbook and yes its actually fun to cook with and cooks so fast.

I wasn’t sure I wanted an air fryer. I finally decided I wanted to give it a try, but didn’t want one supper cheap. I also didn’t want one super expensive. This one got great reviews and it sure has lived up to them. It looks great on my kitchen counter. It’s just the right size. I’ve been please with every aspect of it so far and it’s only been a little over a month. I use it quite often. Preheats in just 4 minutes and is ready to go. Clean up is a breeze. There are four small soft bumpers around the basket that aren’t the easiest to clean, but for the most part it’s not a problem. I’m really glad we went with this model. If you’re not sure about an air fryer this would be a great choice. If you love it, you’ll have a really good one. If you don’t like it so much, you wouldn’t have invested too much into one.

We like the preset settings so you don’t always have to spin the button to get it to the desired temp. It is easy to clean and has a tray that allows air to circulate- not a full basket.

I bought a few other air fryers before this one and returned them:COSORI Air Fryer Oven Combo 5.8QT Max Xl Large Cooker:The basket in basket ones are hard to clean, and have extra parts that can break. After using it a few days I decided it wasn’t worth it. Most stuff I’m just going to take out, I don’t need to dump it, so the basket is just gimmicky and more trouble.Dreo Air Fryer Pro Max:Next one also went to 450F, but the heat it let out the back made the wall frighteningly hot. It was also way quiet, couldn’t hear the beeps in the next room so always forgot about it.COSORI Air Fryer, 5 QT:This one is just right, it goes to 450F, so I can make toast in 2-3min. It’s a bit smaller than the other two, but not by much. The beeps are loud enough to hear. I don’t have any complaints about it after using it for months.

A few scratches in the finish on the left of the unit, above digital display. Did not buff out with a soft cloth. Did the initial test run as directed in booklet. Slight smell with first preheat. Opened basket to cool, did second heating as directed. Opened to cool. Waited 30 minutes and preheated at 400° for fresh white potato fries, cooked them using French fry preset. Pushed them to the rear of the basket, added cut zucchini and yellow squash and onion for last 8 minutes. Only needed 5 minutes and they were done. Took those out and threw in a thin piece of fish. Increased heat to 400°, fish was cooked in 4 minutes. Getting ready to try a whole 5 lb chicken in it.This is my second Cosori. I have the 5.8 Pro with the metal finish on the exterior handle, base and top. I only got this one because I needed a new basket for my original Cosori and CAN’T find one. I bought one that I believed was the correct one, but, it ended up being for this Cosori Pro II. So, I bought the Cosori Pro II. Now, I have two baskets for this unit. The pros: It’s the same as my original 5.8 Pro. It has the icons that you just push, without scrolling through all of them using a menu icon. It has a Preheat icon and a shake icon and sleep warm icon. Nicer to just push the one you want. The cons: 1) It has a time/temp icon that you need to push before going up or down on time and temp, so you can choose which feature is being adjusted. I liked it better as dedicated up/down arrows for temp and a duplicate set for time. Faster selections.2) The housing of the unit already had scratch marks above the display when it was unboxed. That makes me sad and makes me believe the unit will look pretty bad before long.3) The housing is the unit and the front on the base is a flat, matte, plastic, and, the covering over the digital display is plastic, AND, the portion of the housing directly below the display, which is the portion of the unit that is above the opening where the base unit slides in, is aldo matte plastic. GREASE, Fingerprints, smears on that piece of plastic are SUPER OBVIOUS, and need to be cleaned off right away. It looks bad, otherwise, and, I don’t think it is a good idea to leave it there. FINGERMARKS show up all over the digital display. So, not having any metal on the unit makes it look unattractive, grease and fingerprint marked, and, overall, not very nice to look at on the counter. The old model I have, with the brushed metal handle and base plate and top of the unit, was very attractive on the counter.Overall, I’ve had it for a few hours, used it, and it’s satisfactory, but, easily marked up with haziness, grease marks and finger marks, which means that, overall, MORE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE is already a noticeable issue.

Excellent air fryer design and is user friendly. Control panel is on top and easy to operate with preprogrammed buttons which are easy to adjust/modify. The size fits my needs and the tray with the removable bottom fryer plate is genius and the parts are easy to clean (handwash). I’m a fan of the Cosori brand (upgraded from a Cosori 3.8qt. Had an issue and they resolved it without issue – excellent customer service after the sale.). This fryer is excellent. Highly recommended.

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before purchasing the Cosori, I was not disappointed. My favorite things to cook are baked potatoes, chicken wings and steak, everything turns out great and I hardly use my gas grill anymore, especially in the winter. As much as I like the Cosori Air Fryer, it quit working after one year. I did some more research and found that it is rare to have an issue. I contacted costumer service by email and their ( NJ) response was immediate, friendly and I was very much satisfied. Thank you Cosori, another great product.

I had hesitated and pondered adding an air fryer to our kitchen. We don’t have the space and I thought “do I really need this.” THIS machine has been a game changer as it takes meal making to a whole new level. It’s easy to use and the flavors – OMG! I’ve found a new passion for cooking and love that I don’t have to monitor the food so closely.

What can I say? I’m pretty late to the air fryer game and as a first timer I can say I’m so glad this cosori was my first air fryer. A product hasnt felt so life changing since the microwave. It comes in a big box with no assembly required, some warranty and a recipe book which is nice. But to get to the point it’s very easy to use. Ive done steak, Pork Belly, wings, a half chicken, vegetables, fish. Using this thing makes me excited to cook at home again. For anyone wondering, most things require zero oil, some recipes like fries, I spray a bit of oil on the fries to get a crispy finish. Cleanup is easy as long as you wash after every use. It does make a noise while in use, a little less than a microwave but it’s definitely noticeable and audbile. Using it is so easy and straightforward the buttons on top work easy. Size? It’s kind of a big boy for a kitchen appliance, but not very heavy. I’d say it’s the weight of maybe one or two blenders but the footprint is like 4 blenders, thankfully I find it aesthetically pleasing so it blends in nicely next to my blender. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve had my Cosori Air Fryer for about 3 weeks now and I can safely say that I love this device! I sat and researched air fryers for an entire day trying to decide which one to buy and I kept coming back to this one so I bit the bullet. It arrived 2 days later and I immediately opened it and followed the instructions on how to get it ready for use.I ran the preheat cycle about half a dozen times to eliminate any “plastic smell” that other reviewers mentioned. This was a precautionary measure because mine actually stopped smelling after like 2 cycles but I wanted to be VERY SURE. About 3 cycles in, I let it fully cool down and I washed the basket again inside and out, dried it, and ran it a couple more times. Then it was fully ready for use.First I tried fries by just using the fries button on top. I added a bit of oil like the manual suggested and they came out super crispy. On future uses for fries, I’ve skipped the oil and the crisp level is nearly the same. I’ve used the air fryer nearly every single day since I got it home and I love how easy it is to use and how easy it is to clean.I’ve made fries, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, mozzarella sticks, meatball subs, mini pizzas, roasted broccoli, sweet potato fries, and so much more and everything has been delish!Cleaning is a breeze, just run a soapy sponge over the inside of the basket. The nonstick coating is very good so there’s no need to scrub and in fact, scrubbing is a BAD thing because you might damage the coating over time. Use a soft sponge and if you need more scrubbing power, use a soft toothbrush. The little rubber things are fairly easy to pop off for cleaning but somewhat difficult to get back on. The trick is to work on one corner at a time instead of trying to force the foot in all at once. I hope that makes sense.

I purchased the 5.8qt Black Friday at what I think is a reasonable price just arrived this evening easy to set up for 1st time use. Doesn’t take up a lot of counter space in kitchen. I cooked a thick steak for dinner came out delicious very juicy and cooked to perfection. I used the preset steak setting however it was still a little too rare for my taste so put it back in for another 2 minutes on 375 and voila perfection. I ate dinner and with 5-6 minutes and the 2 trays had cooled enough for clean up. This product I think is excellent, I live alone so this is perfect for me to not have to heat up my oven all the time and food cooks faster no grease. I highly recommend this brand air fryer, it had been recommended to me!

Remember when fax machines came out and you wondered what the heck you’d ever use them for? But then a year later you learned that no business could function without one? I know, I’m dating myself a bit, but I think you’ll find the same thing if you don’t already have an air fryer. Though we still use the conventional over when we have to, for 80% of our cooking it’s in the air fryer. These days I’m mostly only cooking for my wife and I, so I wouldn’t say that a family of 4+ would be able to use this as much as we do. But we cook fish, various prepared chicken dishes, hamburgers, toast, muffins, french fries, tater tots, re-heat pizza, chicken bites and grilled cheese for the grandkids, and on and on. I’ve not tried to cook a whole chicken yet, but know it’s large enough for this.I like that this unit is square. My first air fryer was circular and it just wasn’t as functional. This fryer is also easy to clean as the drawer is actually two parts. The outside shell holds the inside cooking tray. With a press of the button, the two separate making cleaning a snap. I have been using this air fryer for about three or four months now and I do see a spot where the Teflon coating has come up. I’m not too bothered by this, but this could be an area Corsori could improve on.As to the controls, the top temperature is 400 degrees. That’s been adequate for my use, I’m not sure if this is a top temperature for this kind of device or not. I like that it has a “shake” feature that when pressed, will beep half way through the time you’ve set to cook. Also, it’s nice that when you open the drawer to shake or look at the cooking progress, the time setting is retained. There are numerous pre-programmed buttons for fish, steak, etc. But to be honest, I’ve not really used these. In the end though, this is a kitchen appliance you will find you can’t live without.

My old air fryer served it’s purpose..it was basic…egg timer like nob with a round basket…wanted to go a little bigger so I researched the cosori. I love the big square basket on this cosori. Love the presets and the fact I can adjust the temp and time easily.

I am just trying it out. So far so good. Haven’t really cooked a meal yet. Mainly doing breakfast sausages, chalupas, and taquitos. I do like the easy cleanup and convenience. I think it will grow on me quickly.Cautionary Note: Place food in basket before powering the unit on. Do not remove the basket without powering down first or staring a program. Pulling the basket out without a running program or powering the unit off first will trip the GFCI. This apparently causes a spike that trips the GFCI. Reset the GFCI and all is well.

Bought to replace an older air fryer. What an upgrade. The square basket allows more food to cook at once. The menu or presets are easy to follow and the temp and cooking times are good and easy to change depending on thickness of food. I’ve done steaks (tasty) , wings and drumsticks (outstanding), frozen fries (crisp). The old fryer had a wire basket this is a solid basket with holes and the coating makes cleanup very easy. I basically put a little soap and hot water in the basket/pan and come back later to clean. I bought another as a Christmas present.

I upgraded from an older model and I am in love. The 0.5 inch by 0.5 inch wider basket is perfect size, as before items I wanted to put in didn’t quite fit. I almost never use the basket insert, but if I was making something like fries or super greasy I might. I love that now I can put in temps by 5 degree increments. I like that the touch screen is GLASS (my older one was not). This is far easier to get clean. I have much more control with choosing which cooking style I use for what % the top or bottom burner is used or if one or the other is off. I love that temp and time have their own adjustment buttons (so much faster). Amazing upgrade and I am very happy with it.

This is my second air-fryer and the Cosori is hands above what I had before. It works so well and works fast. I make the best chicken wings, chicken tenders and French fries in this machine. The best. Perhaps more importantly, the company and their customer service is incredible. They are fast, efficient, will solve the problem you have and with patience and care. I will always buy Cosori!

We love this air fryer! My teenager uses it daily. I also purchased parchment paper liners, that helps with cleanup. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a small but effective countertop air fryer.

First thing I noticed is that this oven is BIG.I think this is a major feature because it’s got room for more food and it is easier to access and clean.I bought this one primarily because it was easy to clean and large enough to hold smaller TV dinners and other frozen entrees on metal pans. It’s too tall to safely cook under cabinets, so watch out for that. However, it was easy to set-up out of the box and it works great. The only surprise was cooking frozen food wasn’t as fast at the pre-set suggested (400 for 12 minutes). I had to add another 10 minutes at 350 to cook the inside layers (lasagna, frozen fish filet, meatloaf, and mashed potatoes). All of these normally needed 20-25 minutes in a regular oven, so it was not much of a time saver.Clean-up is super easy and that was a major selling feature. I was able to wipe it down with a paper towel most of the time. Soap and water as needed – nothing sticks to the inside! It is quiet, too.I checked for heat build-up and I was surprised that the sides and top did not get hot. The heat is vented out the back side, so keep it well away from the walls. I turned mine sideways so that it vented over the stove when I have an exhaust vent.I recommend it, even though it’s large, it’s not too heavy to move about. I keep it in the pantry when I’m not using it. I was pleased with how it cooks fried foods, frozen or not. The food odors don’t get out of it, either, which is nice, particularly with certain vegetables and fish. And, it doesn’t get as hot as I was afraid it might. Clean-up with a paper towel is all I do most of the time.

I have other products from this company and I like their function and design aesthetic. I wanted something to use daily that would justify the counter space. This airfryer was great looking and held enough for one person, however, you have to be careful not to burn yourself getting items in and out. Extra prep time to make items fit. The recipe Book was not helpful! Instructions were very generalized. How and what size baked potato do you use? No cooking times except for things like, chicken / fish nuggets…yuck!. OK if you wanna fuss around trying to make things you could make in a conventional oven, fine. I wanted tips on what I could do daily and use quickly. Guess I am just not an air fryer person, seemed like a lot of fuss (extra steps, cooking in small batches, etc.) for results I could get in conventional or microwave oven . Returned. One star off due to recipe book.

I’ve owned a number of different brands of Air Fryers over the past 10 years and it has been very hit or miss. I moved into a smaller place recently and wanted a new Air Fryer that was better suited for smaller spaces and not take up too much counterspace. I searched long and hard and decided on this one. There is another version of this one that is slightly smaller and is WiFi enabled. I elected to go with this one since I could not think of a situation that I would want to control this unit remotely (although you can see the WiFi indicator on the touch screen, it doesn’t light up and there is no WiFi functionality in this unit. I assume the control panel on the WiFi version is exactly the same or they plan to make this one WiFi enable in the future as the reason for it being there.I’ve used it several times already to cook wings, fish, shrimp, and I even cooked a NY Strip in it (yep! I Air-Fried a steak… I know, I know… I said the same thing to myself that you are thinking while it was cooking), but to my surprise, using the preset worked like a charm. The steak was evenly cooked to a perfect medium well temp, just the way I like it. It was juicy, had a little char on the edges, tender and delicious (I cook a mean steak regardless). When I cooked the wings using the Chicken preset, I ended up adding additional time and increasing the temp since my previous experience with other Air Fryers indicated that the presets always undercook chicken, besides the fact that I like to flip them towards the end to ensure they are crispy all the around. The unit indicated 20 minutes @ 360 degrees. I changed it to 25 mins @390. At the end I flipped and added an additional 5 minutes for 10 wings and then after a total of 30 minutes Bam!!! Perfectly cooked chicken wings. I reduced the time by 5 minutes if I’m only cooking 5 wings or so. Pause at the 5 min remaining mark and flip. They come out just as crispy as if they were deep fried (non-battered wings) Now, 30 minutes is in no way faster than pan frying but waiting a little longer for healthier food is not a deal breaker in my book, especially if the food turns out good. The unit has a number of presets including one for Fries that alerts you when it’s time to flip. I have not used that preset yet but found the presets on every Air Fryer I have owned, to be hit or miss.Cleaning is a breeze. No, seriously, you cannot get any better than this. Simply let the unit cool. (DO NOT run it under water while it is hot, as it will warp the aluminum pan due to the rapidly changing temps which will also cause the Teflon coating to start to separate prematurely from the pan).Remove the crisper tray and run it under water or use the sprayer and then gently wipe it with a wet sponge or dish cloth using just warm/hot water or a mild soap. The rubber ends are removable, but I just leave them on and clean around them. Rinse the pan and wipe the same way. This is the easiest Air Fryer to clean. The non-stick surface, like all other Teflon based coating will deteriorate over time or improper care, therefore, use silicone, Teflon based or wooded utensils in it to avoid scratching the surfaces. It comes with no cookbook or any other accessories. There is an App that you can download that controls the Wifi version, but the App has dozens of recipes specific for use with both this model and the Wifi version. It has an actual on/off button where most units need to be unplugged (I unplug it anyway since I don’t trust touchscreen automated electronic panels which when defective can cut the unit on by itself). It has a timer and a preheat option. You can pause the unit, so you don’t have to reset the temp/time if you open it to check on your food allowing you to continue once you close it (major plus). The outside of the unit does “not” get hot. The fan ports the hot air out of the rear and has a built-in guard to ensure you have space behind it so that it is not flush up against the wall. There is a startup process when you first get the unit. Following the instructions, you basically run through each setting and a few presets to familiarize yourself with it. You’ll run preheat which will burn off and residual oils left from production. Unlike MANY of the others I have own or tried, there is no burning plastic odor when this thing is running. I had a different brand with an oven door and trays instead of a pan, that smelled like burning plastic that didn’t go away until I THREW it away.I chose this brand over so many others since I bought my daughter a previous model of the same brand. Since I have not heard a single complaint about it in 3 years’ time, I conclude that it is still running fine because she would not hesitate to call me and let me know how much she hates the piece of junk I bought for her for Christmas that one year.Overall, I am happy with this unit, although it did cut off prematurely once during cooking, but has since operated fine. I’ve had it less than 30 days but so far so good. It seems well thought out in the engineering department. While I should probably return for the one glitch, it has likely been resolved once the unit was unplugged and plugged back in.I highly recommend this unit if you are only cooking for 1-2 people. YMMV

This is my first air fryer and I have used it every day since my purchase…..don’t know if I will ever turn on the oven again. I think the feature I like the most are the dual heating elements…..the feature that I probably will never use is the wi-fi connection.

I had the Emeril air fryer which cost me almost $300 and I hated it this air fryer. I have to say is amazing. I love everything about it. It is so easy to use its nonstick. It’s dishwasher safe it’s big enough for the three of us I’ve made pork chops. They were delicious, chicken cutlets, french fries you name it I’ve made it I would definitely recommend this.

My first air fryer was a Chefman. It has lasted about 5 years. This Cosori is a bit larger because there is not a basket within a basket. French fries were the first food we tried and the 25 minutes was spot on. Great tasting. Then I did pork tenderloins and they were outstanding as well. I plan on doing Thanksgiving appetizers tomorrow since the oven will be tied up with the turkey. So many uses for an air fryer. Highly recommend.

The dimensions given for this confused me thinking it would be too big for my limited counter space but it’s perfect. The height is a little over 12″ tall, 11.5″ wide and 13.5 deep, including the handle. (See attached picture for comparison height/width to my Kitchen Aid mixer and coffee maker) I was also tempted to get a smaller size since I’m cooking for 1-2 people but I’m so glad I opted for this size. If you are going to make a marinade for chicken tenders, I found it easier to cook 6-8 and fit them all in the basket at one time rather than cooking 2 batches that would be too crowded to do all at once in a smaller 7″ basket. I tried the recipe for a pear tart tonight, that was in the recipe book that came with the AF, and it was delicious! Yes, it cooks more than just fast-food French fries! Easy to understand the controls and super-easy clean up!

I already had a Cosori 3.8 qt. Air Fryer (which I loved), but I think is the perfect size for one person, thus too small for even just the 2 of us.When I saw the deal on Amazon Prime days for the 6.8 qt. dual blaze Cosori, I had to have it. No flipping and I noticed that the temperature could be adjusted in increments of 5 degrees. Meaning instead of just being able to go from say 350 degrees to 360 degrees, you can go to 355 degrees, not so on the 3.8 fryer. On Amazon you can purchase 9″ parchment inserts which fit the dual blaze perfectly making clean up even easier than it already is.My advise is to buy the biggest Air Fryer you can afford. Better more room than not enough room.

After researching air fryers, and being gifted a different one, I decided to buy this one and I’m so happy that I did!!! It’s so easy to use, intuitive, and cooks evenly. I’ve never been a fan of leftovers but now I look forward to reheating food knowing that it’s going to taste great (unlike warming in a microwave), and takes a fraction of the time that stovetop or oven heating would take. The basket shape and size makes sense and hold a good deal of food, thus lessening the need for multiple cooking “shifts”. The cleaning is effortless, truly. I can’t say enough about this product. I cannot identify a single design flaw. They got this right and the price is fantastic!

I’m a little sorry I gave away my Cosori with a basket. The blaze is a lot nicer in some things. I don’t use the tray a lot. I don’t know if I should, but I like to put things right on the bottom. Sometimes I think I should have flipped them. I guess that is why I put it on the bottom. It is very easy to clean. It is huge. The drawer is huge. It doesn’t give off a lot of smoke like the other did. This one doesn’t set my spoke detector off…yet. So that makes me happy. In all I am pleased with it. I just have to use it more.

Tonight I fixed shrimp, roasted potatoes, and peas (peas in the microwave). I have had excellent results with the Cosori Dual Blaze and my wife is pleased with my cooking. She cooked our meals for the last 48 years so I guess I’ll do the cooking for the next 48 years.

I was looking for an air fryer that wasn’t a pain to clean… AND THIS IS THE PERFECT ONE. Cleans up real nice. Food doesn’t get stuck in the holes… mind you I tested this without parchment paper or anything similar. Its easy to use. I haven’t read the directions due to it being that easy. I dont have anything negative to say about this air fryer… cheaper and much better than its competitors (ninja).

I originally ordered the Corsoni Pro based on the reviews. I couldn’t get it to heat when I set it up. So I packed it back up and went back to the drawing board and decided to go all out and order this one. I feel so lucky my pro didn’t work out of the box as I LOVE this machine. It’s my first Airfryer (late to the party!) and it works way better than I imagined. I’ve been using it for a few day and have roasted vegetables, made muffins, the crispiest roasted smashed potatoes ever and even cooked some beef skewers to a perfect medium with a nice sear. Everything has come out perfect. Clean up is a breeze – it has a tray not a basket and it just goes in the dishwasher. But nothing sticks to it anyway. The app works well and the cook it now function takes out all the guesswork. One of my favorite purchases this year.

Very sleek looking . Love it.Other company’s product has some smell at the beginning. And their tefal coating is harmful in later years.I did some research. Cosori doesn’t have that kind of issues.I’d recommend ofcourse clean first after buying. Also easy to clean after every use

This is the first air fryer I have purchased for my family and I can say that using it has drastically improved the quality and flavor of our dinners. Before using this air fryer, we used to cook everything in the oven or on the stove. Now, all, if not most, of the cooking is done using this air fryer. Not only does it enhance and bring the flavors of your food to life, but it also eliminates the health disadvantages of using conventional frying methods. This air fryer does not use any oil and yet, the food tastes as though it has been fried minus the messy grease. It can also be used to warm up foods or leftovers that you wouldn’t normally fry. I wish I had made this purchase a long time ago as it is a much healthier and tastier alternative to other cooking methods. I can already feel the health benefits of switching over to this cooking method.

Super easy to use! Currently, we are trying foods we normally eat. We have cooked frozen meatballs, frozen hamburger patties, frozen chicken tenderloins, chicken nuggets, frozen french fries, toasted cheese sandwiches, mug cakes, and reheat leftovers. They all turned out fantastic! I really like how fast and evenly food cooks in it and I don’t have to preheat it or shake the basket. I also love it because it does not heat up kitchen so it is great for summer use.The first few times we used it, we over cooked some food but since then we have been able to adjust the settings and it turned out much better. Definitely a learning curve to cooking food just right.I also love that I don’t have grease splattered everywhere after cooking hamburgers. We have to wipe it out the air fryer after cooking burgers but it is a lot easier.

I really like the cosori air fryer. You can do anything with it. Cook almost anything, it is great. I’m trying to find the right cook book, so that I can cook my food right. There is problem with the baskets handle. The first one I had after one day the handle just sliped of the basket while I was holding it and the basket was hot. I don’t know if the handle came loose before it got to me because the box it came in was damaged. A big hole was in the box and it went all the way to the styrofoam. The machine didn’t look damaged at all, but mabe the handle came loose. I am going to keep a eye on it and if starts to come loose before the date expires. I’ll have to return it and get another cosori air fryer.

I absolutely wouldn’t know what to do without it! Never thought I would buy one until while we were at the beach my grandson reheated seafood/fries from the night before and honestly it was better then when it was served at the restaurant! Saw this one on YouTube and bought it. I use it almost EVERY day…. From lobster tails, asparagus, to grilled cheese and everything in between. You’ll wonder why you waited so long. Buy it NOW!

I almost bought the bigger, newer one. Very happy with size, ease to clean & functionality.Perfect for cooking for two.Using it often. I feel I had a great experience too because with the money I saved buying the smaller 5qt one on sale, I bought alot of tools on the YouTube Airfryer lady’s pro tool page. This appliance is a good size, good looking on counter, easy to clean, saves me time and makes food I can’t make in the over.I really eat frozen food but I actually like the way this cooks frozen veggies and food, especially breaded food or fried food.Excellent for roasting potatoes, French fries and making bacon

This is my first ever owned air fryer and I’m so glad it was! If you’re looking for easy, this is the one. It has the most basic operating system and that’s why I love it. The bowl is a great size, so that’s a plus. The temp seems to be on point. I can’t say anything negative about it!

I have autistic grandson, who at one time would not eat anything, he really ran from food. One day I gave a a chicken nugget, put it in his mouth and he fought for a while but he like it, came back for more. So that’s all he eats on his own. Your air fryer cooks the nuggets nice and tender. Being that’s all he eats I am thankful.

*2nd Update* – I’m changing my rating to 4 stars because of the exceptional customer service from Cosori. They reached out and I explained the issues I was having with the first two air fryers. They graciously sent me a third air fryer, directly from Cosori, and this one works as perfectly as most of the reviews here state. I did not have any issues with a horrible lingering plastic smell and this one doesn’t rattle at all. The basket even operates more smoothly, so third time was a charm. Still, one star off for the issues I had with the first two air fryers. Cosori takes good care of their customers, so don’t hesitate to contact them if you have any issues!*Update* – I’m lowering my rating to one star. The 2nd air fryer has also developed a loud rattle when the basket is opened and closed and intermittently during cooking. The rattle on the replacement is worse than the first one. May end up returning this one as well. There are some features about this Cosori air fryer that I love, so I’ll start with those first. Food turns out perfectly every time and it’s much faster and economical than using the oven, plus the convenience of this appliance can’t be beat. The large 5 quart capacity, for the low Black Friday price I paid, was an added bonus. I also like that the maximum temperature goes up to 450 degrees for searing, compared to most other air fryer’s 400 degrees. Now for what I didn’t like. I’d read reviews about the strong and persistent odor but since my other air fryer, an Instant Vortex, didn’t have an issue, I didn’t expect this brand would be a problem. I ran the air fryer through the initial start-up according to the instructions. The burning plastic odor was significantly worse than my other air fryer to the point that it set off my smoke alarm for the first time ever, which really surprised me. The unit wasn’t smoking but apparently the vapors released by the unit were triggering the alarm. This was very concerning. I unplugged it, let it cool, and tried it again. The alarm went off again. I finally finished the break-in process outside (although, the odor was still very strong outdoors) and eventually the burning plastic smell subsided, but I soon encountered another problem. The air fryer’s heating element started rattling and vibrating badly whenever the basket was opened and closed. It also sometimes rattled while cooking. I decided the unit I received must be defective so I sent it back. I took a gamble and ordered a replacement. I did a few break-in cycles outdoors this time, which shouldn’t be necessary, but I didn’t want to take any chances. This unit seemed to be slightly less smelly. There are also no rattling sounds with the new one.I’ve head such great things about the Cosori brand but when I compare it to my Instant Vortex air fryer that I’ve never had any issues with, this Cosori model isn’t nearly as solid feeling and the quality just isn’t the same. Since the price of this model was so good, I was considering buying others as Christmas gifts but changed my mind after my experiences with it.

This is my second Air fryer. The first was a Ninja, which I loved for the 10 or so days I had it before pushing it to the back of my stove (kept it there when in use to be near the exhaust fan in my rental) and not noticing a burner had gotten turned on – yes, the plastic smell alerted to me my looming disaster. The unit was ruined and I spent 1/2 hr. cleaning off my stove top. Please be smarter than I was!Meanwhile, I had decided I’d like a slightly bigger, square air fryer, so I read the reviews of this Cosori, and basically it ticked off everything I thought I wanted. When it arrived I unpacked it and had 2 things to prepare right away. I seasoned my steak, double checked the directions and temps needed, and eagerly awaited the results. The steak was fabulous – best I’ve ever made! BUT, the unit was so light weight that I had to hold it down to pull the basket out (yes, I remembered to push the button latch on the basket), and it was hard to remove even so. I made something else in the Cosori and it was also good, but had the same issue with it not being heavy and sturdy enough for ease of use. So I went out and bought another Ninja, next size up, and compared them to be sure I wasn’t fooling myself. I wasn’t. If you’re trying to decide between the 2 brands, I can’t recommend the Cosori. If I had bought it first I wouldn’t have liked air fryers.

I bought the dual blaze thinking I would not have to flip food during the cooking time BUT it seems that you still do even if you preheat using the crisper ‘tray’. I don’t mind since I usually check 1-2 times during. I like that there is a crisper tray instead of the inner basket as I have with my older Cosori XL 5.8 QT air fryer which I love and still use.Dual blaze without the crisper tray cooks plant based and beef burgers great since it browns better. I also like making stuff jalapeno peppers, roast raw almonds and other nuts in the dual blaze without the crisper tray. Anything that you want to cook as you would in skillet on stove you can do in the blaze without the tray. The difference to me between the 5.8 QT and the dual for my cooking needs is that I find cooking whole chicken or beef roast that the Cosori XL 5.8 QT does a better job on these longer cooking times. The dual blaze bottom elements heats the liquid/grease on bottom too fast/much and causes too much smoke. I’ve tried draining a few times during but that’s a pain or adding water before cooking but water evaporates too quickly and then smoke develops later. The 5.8 QT since no bottom heating element does not do that and able to cook longer.I like the dual blaze for larger interior size and removable crisper tray to reheat and/or cooking food that requires less than 30 minutes. When I cook 1 lb bacon I just toss/separate slices in dual blaze, cook at 320F for 15 to 20 minutes. Check and flip/shake a few times. I use to lay each slice neatly but this way is much better. Saw someone on YouTube recommend.Cosori customer service is great! After 8 months of using 5-6x/week I got an E21 error code. I called customer service spoke with Chad and the E21 error code was not fixable. A warranty claim was done and I received a new Dual Blaze within 9 days. So far it’s working. I’m hoping this one lasts. If not, make sure you register within 14 days to extend warranty to a total of 2 years.

So I got this air fryer for my husband and I. I read that a five quart is good for up to a family of four so I thought oversizing would be good because he and I often eat a lot and cook in bulk for leftovers.I quickly found out that it’s a little too small for us personally, I tried to put six chicken legs in it and they didn’t fit and some were undercooked even though I used the preprogrammed chicken function. It can fit about four chicken thighs but we usually cook 6-8 pieces of chicken and have the rest for leftovers and this just isn’t big enough for that. So we basically only use it to make side dishes now as it can fit a good portion of potatoes or veggies. But other than the size this is so easy to use. It cleans very easily and I love the touchscreen. I’ll likely swap this in for a larger model at some point but for what it’s worth I definitely love the functionality.
